Aims

We aim to enable and encourage all of our pupils, whatever their ability, to achieve their potential through academic, social, cultural and physical experiences. To celebrate success and achievement in all areas of school life. To encourage the development of a responsible and confident approach to life through participation in a caring, supportive and disciplined environment.

To equip all of our pupils with the knowledge, skills and understanding which will enable them to enjoy full lives in a changing world.

To develop imagination, spiritual awareness creativity and discernment throughout the curriculum. Encourage respect for religious and moral values, tolerance of other cultures, religions and races. To support community awareness and involvement. We welcome a shared commitment with parents to the education of our young people, through openness, communication and a genuine partnership. To nurture and support those characteristics which enhance relationships - humour, compassion, understanding and thoughtfulness. To seek and ensure smooth progression from our feeder Primary Schools and our post-16 institutions through effective relationships.

eSafety

We take eSafety very seriously at Endon High School. We have syetems in place to protect our pupils from the potential risks & dangers of using the Internet and electronic forms of communication. Our ICT Department deliver lessons throughout the year which identify & discuss eSafety concerns and advise our pupils how to stay safe.

To ensure that we can offer the best protection for our pupils, an eSafety group meet regularly to discuss eSafety issues and latest trends that we feel we may need to make our pupils aware of. We have also established a pupil group of eSafety Ambassadors who frequently attend meetings to give a pupil perspective of possible issues and any areas of concerns that they feel staff should investigate.

All Endon High School staff receive suitable eSafety training to advise our pupils of the official routes to take should they have an eSafety concern such as the CEOP website. We also operate an internal reporting system called NetSafe which allows pupils to report concerns to designated Safeguarding memers of staff.
