  • Monday 23 May 2022 Theatre Trip - Mamma Mia Year 7 and KS4 Drama students were fortunate to attend The Regent Theatre to watch Mamma Mia last week. It was lovely to be able to take a large group of pupils out to the theatre and enjoy live entertainment again.

  • Friday 1 April 2022 Year 10 Industry Day Year 10 pupils took part in a whole year activity on Enrichment Day, which involved working with volunteers from industry. Pupils took part in a series of activities.
  • Friday 1 April 2022 Year 9 Keele University visit As part of the annual Enrichment Day, a selection of Year 9 pupils attended Keele University to learn about what it is like to study at university and have a campus tour.
  • Thursday 31 March 2022 Potteries Museum Local Architecture Workshop selected pupils who have opted for GCSE Art/ Textiles attended a workshop at the Potteries Museum based on local architecture.

  • Wednesday 2 March 2022 IET Faraday Challenge 2nd March 2022 Congratulationsto 6 Year 8 pupils who attended the IET Faraday Challenge at the Potteries Museum yesterday. They were tasked with creating a piece of equipment to aid children in hospital, crate a prototype and present their product to leaders and fellow competitors. Although they did not win, they had some some amazing ideas and we are proud of their achievement.
  • Thursday 3 February 2022 Year 11 Mock Interview Day 2022 Year 11 Mock Interview Day - pupils were able to get a “real life experience” of an interview with volunteers from industry, business and education. Pupils will have have learnt some valuable skills and received advice on how to approach their future interviews. Thanks to all the volunteers for their time in supporting our school and the pupils.
  • Wednesday 2 February 2022 Newcastle College Apprenticeship Bus Thank you to Newcastle College for bringing their Apprentice Bus to school yesterday. Pupils were able to find out able the different levels of apprenticeships and have a go at “welding”.
  • Tuesday 14 December 2021 Headteacher Awards - December 2021 Well done to pupils who have received the Headteacher Award for Curiosity, Determination or Kindness this half-term. Pupils celebrated with a breakfast earlier today.
  • Tuesday 14 December 2021 Christmas Concert 2021 Congratulationsand well done to the students who put together a Christmas Concert yesterday to staff and parents. Pupils sang a variety of songs either as individuals or as a group. As a result of parental donations, £195.50 was collected for Douglas MacMillan Hospice. A special thanks to F Galley who conducted and organised the event. 🎄🌻🎤

  • Wednesday 3 November 2021 Big Geography Challenge On Wednesday 3rd November we invited our primary feeder schools to come and take part in out Big Geography Challenge Transition event. Pupils from St Anne’s, Endon Hall and St Luke’s all came and had a fantastic afternoon learning how to become a volcanologist. They were investigating the volcano at Montserrat and were great critical thinkers and decision makers trying to protect everyone on the island!
  • Monday 1 November 2021 Staffordshire Youth Awards 2021 A fabulous evening to see two ex-pupils, S Ashworth and G Dawson both come runner up in their respective categories at the @sportcomcic1 Staffordshire Youth Awards. Both amazing role models and deserved nominees! Well done from everyone in PE Department and @endonhighschool ????
  • Thursday 21 October 2021 Headteacher Awards - October 2021 Congratulationsto a special group of pupils who have been given the Headteacher award for Curiosity, Determination and Kindness for this half-term. All were treated to a celebration breakfast and received their certificates. Well done ??
  • Tuesday 12 October 2021 Royal Mail Art Competition AYear 7 pupil has made it the regional finals of an art competition inspired by the vital role played by key workers.
  • Thursday 7 October 2021 Football results Great evening of football. Yr7 and Yr8 boys both winning! Yr7 with an extremely close 2-1 victory! F Dono with some amazing saves. Yr8 winning 10-2! Great skills and determination on show! Well done! MDO and KJ

  • Friday 1 October 2021 Big Science Challenge Transition Event Yesterday we invited our primary feeder schools to come and take part in out Big Science Challenge Transition event. Pupils from St Anne’s, Greenways and St Luke’s all came and had a fantastic afternoon! They competed to make the best paper aeroplane, to get the most droplets of water on a penny, to make the best paper boat and to make the tallest spaghetti tower! The winning team was St Anne’s Orange team, followed by St Luke’s Gold team and in joint 3rd was St Anne’s Pink team and Greenways Blue team.

  • Tuesday 14 September 2021 Road Safety Assemblies Year 7,8,11 have all had sessions by Mr Cope from the highways agency on road and passenger safety today . This links in with our learning for life programme on being safe. The pupils were brilliant and well behaved.
